Why geothermal is different from everything else we build
Solar stops at night. Wind stops when the air is still. Geothermal does not stop. Production wells bring hot brine at 120 to 200°C up from a reservoir, a heat exchanger transfers that heat to an organic working fluid driving an ORC turbine, and the cooled brine returns underground through injection wells. A closed loop running at over 90% capacity factor, day and night.
For a grid operator, that is baseload. For an industrial user, it is process heat and power without intermittency. It solves a problem solar cannot.

Exploration drilling is the make-or-break phase, and we say so upfront. The first wells confirm temperature and flow, and until they are drilled the resource is a model rather than a fact. Any developer telling you otherwise is selling optimism. Our advantage is that we drill those wells ourselves rather than subcontracting the riskiest part of the project.

Arabian Group of Companies has operated onshore drilling since 1988, working with national and international operators across the UAE and Oman, with IWCF-certified personnel and its own fleet. Geothermal is not an adjacent market we are entering — it is our original discipline applied to a different reservoir fluid.
Timeline
Resource assessment takes eight months, exploration drilling ten, production drilling twelve, power plant construction twelve, and commissioning six. A geothermal project runs 24 to 48 months, front-loaded with the highest-risk work.
