Our role in Europe
We are not a European EPC contractor and will not present ourselves as one. Our role in Europe is supply, partnership and investment structuring — and we would rather say so plainly.

The market
Most contractors would publish a page here claiming pan-European delivery. We think that is a mistake, and a transparent one to anyone who checks.
Europe has a mature solar market with entrenched national EPC firms, country-specific certification regimes, established grid codes and procurement rules that favour local track record. A Gulf contractor bidding against a German firm with thirty years of national reference projects is not offering the client anything better. Our desert engineering advantage — soiling management, extreme ambient derating, dust ingress — is genuinely valuable in Africa and Central Asia and largely irrelevant in Bavaria.
What we actually do in Europe
- Equipment supply — direct procurement relationships with tier-one module, inverter, battery and electrolyser manufacturers
- Joint ventures — partnering with European developers taking projects into Middle Eastern and African markets, where our delivery capability is the contribution
- Investment structuring — our group includes CEG Group AG in Zug, giving us a Swiss corporate presence for investment and capital structuring
- Technology partnership — European engineering, our regional delivery
If you are a European developer looking at MENA or Africa, we are worth talking to. If you need a rooftop installed in Lyon, you should use a French contractor, and we will say so.

Frequently asked questions
Do you install solar in Europe?
Not as a local EPC contractor. Europe has a mature market with established national contractors, country-specific certification and procurement rules favouring local track record. Our role here is equipment supply, joint venture partnership and investment structuring.
Why not compete for European EPC work?
Because we would not be offering clients anything better than an established local firm. Our specific advantage is engineering for desert and emerging-market conditions, which is valuable in Africa and Central Asia and largely irrelevant in Western Europe.
What is CEG Group AG?
A Swiss entity within our group, based in Zug, which gives us a European corporate presence for investment and capital structuring.
Who should contact you from Europe?
Developers and manufacturers seeking a delivery partner in the Middle East or Africa, and investors seeking exposure to those markets through a Swiss structure.
