Solar & Storage in Latin America
Latin America has excellent resource, competitive auctions and strong domestic EPC sectors. We enter through partnership rather than by claiming a presence we do not yet have.
- Strong markets
- Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia
- Route
- Partnership and EPC+F
- Standards
- Largely NEC-derived
- Languages
- Spanish, Portuguese
The market
Chile's Atacama has the highest solar irradiation on earth. Brazil runs one of the largest distributed generation markets anywhere. Mexico and Colombia both have substantial pipelines. The resource and the demand are not in question.
What is in question is what an outside contractor adds. These markets have capable domestic EPC sectors, electrical standards derived from the US National Electrical Code rather than IEC, and procurement in Spanish and Portuguese. Arriving with a Gulf template and a UAE licence is not a proposition.
How we would enter
- Financing first — our EPC+F structuring, including Shariah-compliant options, is the capability least duplicated locally
- Local delivery partner — construction executed by a licensed domestic contractor, with us structuring and engineering
- Storage — grid-scale BESS expertise where domestic experience is thinner than in PV
- Gulf-linked clients — sovereign and family capital from the region investing in Latin American energy assets
Said plainly: we have no completed projects in Latin America yet. If you are evaluating us for work here, ask us about the structure and the partner rather than about a regional track record, because we would only be misleading you.

- Feasibility and bankable tender packages
Frequently asked questions
Do you have projects in Latin America?
Not yet. We are honest about that. Our entry model is partnership with licensed local contractors, with our contribution being financing structure and storage engineering rather than construction labour.
Why partner rather than deliver directly?
Latin American markets have capable domestic EPC sectors, electrical standards derived from the US NEC rather than IEC, and procurement conducted in Spanish and Portuguese. A local partner delivers better than an outside contractor working from a Gulf template.
What do you actually bring to a Latin American project?
EPC-plus-financing structuring including Shariah-compliant options, grid-scale battery storage engineering where domestic experience is thinner than in PV, and relationships with Gulf capital seeking exposure to the region.
